Everyday Shea Lavender Body Wash

We use soap everyday (or almost everyday) on our bodies. That makes it significant in our lives; we are breathing in our products, we are lathering our products on our skin and we are reusing this product everyday or more. Being aware of the quality of our items we use can make an impact on our own health and beauty. Using cheap companies who fill their lotions and soaps with low quality and toxic ingredients is not beneficial for a long time use. Cheap products like Neutrogena, Cetaphil, Herbal Essence will not heal or help the skin, if anything it will make skin break out or cause irritation.

Everyday Shea body wash has grabbed my attention as a high quality product. They use unrefined (not processed) shea butter that is fair trade.  This companies line does not use synthetic fragrances or parabens. Their ingredients are simple and they use essential oils as a scent instead of fragrance. They have body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and they also came out with a baby line. I am a big fan of the body wash and I use it for hand soap at our sinks as well as in the shower.

The best part of the product is the price. A lot of the products that have better ingredients come with an outrageous price tag, but I can handle Everyday Shea’s.The body wash comes in 32 fluid ounces for $13.99. It can be found online or locally at LifeSource.

Here are the ingredients for the body wash.

Key Ingredients:
Aqueous Neem Leaf Extract – wide range of properties promoting skin health.
Shea Butter Soap – made with 60% shea butter and 40% virgin coconut oil, shea butter provides moisture, coconut provides lather.

Full Ingredients:
Aqueous Neem Leaf (Azadirachta indica) Extract, Handcrafted Shea Butter Soap (Saponified Shea (Butyrospermum parkii) Butter and Virgin Coconut (Cocos nucifera) Oil), Cocamidopropyl Betaine (gentle thickening and foaming agent derived from coconut oil), Sucrose (sugar, an emulsifier that makes the formula stay together), Essential Oil and/or Vanilla Extract (in scented versions only).

I consider Everyday Shea a trustworthy line. The ingredients are simple and the product is effective. Better yet the company is respectable, the funds from their product line is used to conduct community enhancement projects in West African nations in order to reduce poverty and gender inequality. Take note, this is a beautiful company that other quality companies will follow in the future.

Do you know of a trustworthy beauty product? Let me know I would love to try it!
