ahimsa: to do no harm, nonviolence

Ahimsa has become a favorite Sanskrit word of mine. It symbolizes not only nonviolence toward living beings, but also nonviolence of our words and thoughts. There are many ways violence can be created in our lives and often times the non-physical forms are more powerful and harmful.
Practicing ahimsa can be a positive way to handle difficult situations and dilemmas in your life. Try practicing ahimsa by observing your thoughts. What is more damaging, the situation you are in or your thoughts and intentions that arise from the situation?

Today on 17/5/2013 I referred this. Please give on difficult words to learn. Also if possible start the scheme of sending a Sanskrit word daily on Email. This progamme of spreading Sanskrit love is commendable really.Best wishes.
