I am very excited to share, and announce, that I have an article in this season’s spring issue of Take Root, a local Willamette Valley Magazine.
Take Root has an array of articles that discuss the importance of knowing where your food comes from, sustainable living, culinary foods, eating local, living green, and promoting a healthy environment for families and communities. Not to mention, they include beautiful photography to accompany the varying article topics.
In this spring article I delve into the issue of fragrances- what to avoid, what to look for, and how to still smell sweet as spring while doing it.
If you are looking to support the local magazine, you can find Take Root in Salem starting April 1st at LifeSource Natural Foods and E.Z. Orchards. You can also find it at these other locations outside of Salem.

woohoo! That’s exciting!
Congrats! Fragrance is a toughie because the laws surrounding consumer disclosure are more lax than with other products (and those are hardly stringent). Glad you’re out there educatin’! Especially in the good ol’ Willamette Valley. (I went to U of O.)
